Choosing specialization..........

Some colleges have specialization where as the others have a set of courses just like undergrad....

For choosing specialization.....

1. Choose the area of interest you have...

2. If you dont have interest in any area...then meet your professor in your department and ask for his suggestion.....like the branch in boom....or which branch will have a bright future....etc....

No matter whether the college has specialization or not....it doesnot makes any difference...

Choose which option better suits you.......

MS in US for CS is difficult

MS in CS here is difficult whole over US.
Coming to US with out studying in the B.Tech causes several problems. But those who study well in B.Tech is worthy to do MS here.....

I didn't mean to discourage you........

But I am giving you a suggestion......to study well in B.Tech.....thats it.....

Here competing with US citizens is difficult...They have a very good background in their undergrad..
